“What is a teacher? I'll tell you: it isn't someone who teaches something, but someone who inspires the student to give of her best in order to discover what she already knows.”

The last straw - A  gota d'água

Mas, em inglês o equilavente é "The last straw that breaks the camel's back".

e.g: When John cheated on his girlfriend for the fourth time, she decided to break up with him.  She told John she had given him some chances, but that time was the last straw.

e.g. He'd been some minutes late for work for a long time, but the last straw came when he arrived an hour late. Guess what? He had to be fired.
